What inspires us?

The things we love and inspire us come in many shapes and forms. Here are a few. From the bottom left:
- Labradoodles. We've had a labradoodle for over years and bred a litter of little doodles. They really are great dogs and fun to have in the studio.
- William Henry Fox Talbot. The father of modern photography. He made the first negative in 1841 of Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire.
- Bauhaus. The design inspiration for so much that we create here at Pixelhaus. So much that we consider iconic from the 20th century originated with the Bauhaus and the modern movement.
- Apple. Tools of the trade for every designer. And what good tools they are.
- Classic cars and motorcycles. Remember when cars and bikes had panache and style ?
- Archery. The sport of choice for Richard Gosler, managing director at Pixelhaus. Unlike golf, you can do it indoors when the weather if yuck.
- Music. You'll find a drummer, a singer and a qualified vocal coach at Pixelhaus: you could look great AND sound great!
- Edward Hopper. One of our favourite artists of the 20th century. His work turns up not just in print, but is referenced in countless cinematographic masterpieces.
- Vintage electronica: We love analogue! Electronic music goes right back to the pioneers of the 60's and 70's like Wendy Carlos, Isao Tomita (shown in the centre) and later artists like Kraftwerk.
