For many of our long established customers, virtual tours have been a way to augment existing websites and presentations with a new zest.
One such company is Oates Construction Ltd, a major building contractor based in Poole, Dorset.
They specialise in hotel and retail premises, and the added inclusion of virtual tours has given them greater prominence with their customers. This particular tour uses cubic panoramas so the viewer can see both up and down as well as all around.
We were commissioned by BJ Malone Ltd to produce a virtual tour of a manor house in Dorset that had been extensively restored. it was decided that this was by far, the best way to show off the extensive works.
In this instance we have produced the virtual tour in Quicktime VR, which although it requires a plugin, is freely available from Apple and gives a far higher quality panorama than Java.
