The brief
We built the original site in Magento 1 several years ago so that it would connect with their EPOS system. In moving to a new EPOS system and as Magento 1 was no longer robust or secure enough it was necessary to move to something new.
The solution
With limited time available as the old EPOS was to be discontinued we opted to build the new site in Woocommerce, the popular wordpress ecommerce extension. This ensured that the site would load and run quickly on our dedicated wordpress server as well as talk to their new EPOS system.

The site has become one of the major providers for school uniforms throughout north west London.
