Cerberus

Client: Cerberus Dog Food

Location: London, UK

Business type: Canine nutrition

Technology: Woocommerce | Node.js

The brief

Cerberus dog food, a new disruptive brand to the UK were looking to do something unique in the UK dog food market. Create a platform that would allow the user to not just choose a pre-defined meal for their dog but actually build a bespoke recipe on-the-fly that's tailored to the dog's breed, gender, age, weight, level of activity and any prevailing health conditions. We worked with Cerberus's brand agency, Dunstar who created the logo, design and look to bring their concept to life. Our programmer worked very closely with Cerberus's animal nutritionist to create this unique platform.

The solution

Wordpress and woocommerce were chosen as the platform for the site for it's level of customisability. Every aspect of the site has been custom designed and built from the ground up to give the user a premium experience. The 'recipe engine' for the site was coded in node.js, a full-stack javascript environment that 'plays well with others'. Stripe is used for secure online payments and the shipping integrates directly with DPD for rapid courier booking and tracking.

The result

Cerberus continues to be disruptive brand and since the launch of the site have added a range of treats plus there are plans to open a bricks and mortar store in London.
