The brief
This was the fourth Gaucho Belts site we've built for the client going back to 2007. We started work during the first lockdown of 2020. The previous site was built in Opencart 2 and one of the requirements was to being it up to date in Opencart 3. A greater emphasis on international sales/shipping was a requirement.
The solution
We've built a number of sites for Opencart using the Journal framework which offers quick turnaround and great design flexability. Also used was X-shipping to calculate international courier pricing. There are very few shipping extensions for any platform that offer the level of control you have.
The result
Since the site launched we've run regular email campaigns that have tied in with discount coupons, vouchers and special offers.
