The brief
When the client contacted us a year prior, their site though fairly recent was struggling with the volume of data it had to deal with in a platform that wasn't well optimised.
The solution
We have built them a brand new site based on Opencart 3, one of our preferred platforms. It is well optimised for the complexity of products and the volume of orders it will need to deal with. We were able to migrate the product and customer data directly from the old to the new site, cutting down much manual data entry.
The site connects to an external stock control system and Royal Mail for seamless operation.
One of Opencart's best kept secrets is the inbuilt loyalty points mechanism which we have deployed to great effect.
The result
We have continued to add enhancements to the site, most recently adding Clearpay for splitting the price into micro payments.
