Seamark Nunn
Project profile
Client: Seamark Nunn
Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk
Business type: Maritime | Chandlery
Technology: Sellerdeck
The brief
Seamark Nunn are a renowned chandlery based in East Angia. Their previous site (which we remodelled 3 years previously) was built on Sellerdeck v14 but not being responsive for mobile users it was starting to show its age. Moving to a different platform is 'difficult' from Sellerdeck and add to the fact it integrated directly into their Kudos back office stock control system meant a complete rebuild in the latest version.
The solution
From the start, based on user analytics, we made sure the mobile user experience was every bit as good as desktop. The design is clean and uncluttered for easy navigation. We upgraded the core of the site to the latest version of Sellerdeck (V18) and replaced all of the plugins with up to date responsive versions. Because Sellerdeck is a proprietory platform we were supported by them in ironing out the technical wrinkles that always arise from such a large step change.
The result
The end result is a super-fast site that both the client and customers are delighted with and an uptick in sales has already been noted.
